I hear a lot about eating organic fruits and vegetables during pregnancy. I actually have tiny organic garden in my backyard. My only concern is that my lot is located in town and I am not sure how pollution affects my vegetables. Are those veggies safe for my growing baby?
If so, what are some methods? Such as in backyard gardening and I want to make a small corn garden, both sustainable and organic. Any ideas on natural, organic fertilizers/pesticides if any? Also.. how could I conserve water, such as rain to water my garden with?
Getting ready to grow a backyard vegetable garden and I want it to be free of any chemicals. What is the best way to control weeds and bugs without using any chemicals?
I just started an organic garden in my backyard. I have planted tomotoes, cucumbers, cantalope, yellow squash, bell peppers, lettuce and oregano so far.
Any advice or helpful hints for growing healthy, pest and chemical free vegies? I don’t want the bugs to eat up the plants and I do NOT want to spray chemicals.
Other than weeding and watering, what else should I be doing to help them grow big and delicious?
