Magda L asked:
I hear a lot about eating organic fruits and vegetables during pregnancy. I actually have tiny organic garden in my backyard. My only concern is that my lot is located in town and I am not sure how pollution affects my vegetables. Are those veggies safe for my growing baby?

Yes, they are perfectly fine. Like with any vegetable, make sure you wash it thoroughly before eating it.

there are chemicals everywhere and the air is polluted that we breath, your vegetables are safer than ones you would buy in the store. the store veggies have alot of pestisides.

I would sure hope so, I have been growing my own tomato plant this year, along with jalapenos and green peppers. I haven’t used any chemicals on them at all, Just plain water! I can’t wait to have fresh ripe tomato’s and fried green tomato’s!
